At Capital Academy, we understand the importance of balancing productive meetings with uninterrupted focus time. To ensure everyone can work in a flow state, we have implemented Focus Wednesdays—a company-wide, meeting-free day. Additionally, once every quarter, we extend this practice to Focus Week, an entire week without scheduled meetings.
While spontaneous ad-hoc conversations and collaboration are still encouraged during focus time, dedicating time for an open calendar helps reduce meeting fatigue. This approach fosters a culture that values the benefits of uninterrupted work time.
